Aurora scoops up world-renowned Anandia; boosts genetic breeding expertise.

If you’re having trouble tracking the acquisitions, joint-venture agreements and other announcements in the cannabis industry, you’re probably not alone.

It’s almost as if cannabis companies are trying to outdo each other, such is the sheer volume of news coming out every day.

The latest is Aurora’s acquisition of BC-based Anandia Labs.  The deal was completed and announced today.

It’s a smart move.

A global leader in cannabis genomics and breeding, Anandia has no less than 450 cannabis gene types in its collection and holds a growing list of intellectual property assets.

The company’s expertise in genomics speeds up plant breeding, too.
