Significantly increased survival for animals with pancreatic cancer.”

A new compound discovered in cannabis significantly increased survival for animals with pancreatic cancer and led to a “major increase” in destruction of cancer cells, according to an article in Frontiers in Oncology, July 2019.

Cannabis-derived FLB 03G is not a cannabinoid, but like CBD it’s not psychoactive, said the article.

Pancreatic cancer cells were obtained from the National Cancer Institute and rats were used in the study.
